We partner with WHO-GMP and EU-GMP certified manufacturers, primarily from India, to market and distribute finished pharmaceutical products across the ASEAN region, including Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the Philippines.

Job Summary

The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s pharmaceutical products within the assigned territory. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with pharmacies, drugstores, clinics, doctors, and hospitals, while ensuring product availability and visibility.

The position focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, developing new customers, and providing excellent customer service to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Execution

  • Visit pharmacies, drugstores, clinics, doctors, and hospitals according to the assigned route plan.

  • Introduce and promote company pharmaceutical products to customers.

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Ensure proper product display and visibility at points of sale.

  • Drive sell-in and sell-out activities.

  • Meet assigned sales KPIs and performance targets.

2. Customer Management & Account Follow-up

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

  • Provide product information and support product-related training for customers.

  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify and develop new customers.

  • Maintain a positive company image and professional relationships with customers.

  • Coordinate with Accounting to follow up on outstanding customer accounts and payments.

3. Market Coverage & Development

  • Identify and develop new customers within the assigned territory.

  • Expand market coverage and increase product presence.

  • Maintain an updated customer list and accurate customer database.

4. Order Management & Coordination

  • Take and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with distributors and internal teams, including Logistics and Accounting, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.

  • Follow up on orders, stock availability, and customer payments.

  • Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve order or delivery issues.

5. Sales Reporting & Compliance

  • Report daily sales activities, customer visits, and performance.

  • Track sales data and maintain required reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Collect information on market trends, competitor activities, product availability, and customer feedback.

  • Report relevant market insights and opportunities to the Supervisor or Manager.

  • Monitor competitor activities and changes within the assigned territory.

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic sales and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

  • Good time management and route-planning skills.

  • Basic reporting and data-tracking skills.

Experience

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience of sales experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or retail sales is preferred.
